Wrong Article[edit]

Steven, I think you're moving information over to the wrong wiki article. We are doing "Geography of Chile" not "Chile". :) --Maeolms (talk) 12:37, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Development[edit]

I moved the education heading and its content and combined it with the development section under Economics. I only copied and pasted it. Maeolms (talk) 02:27, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good so far. Andy Milson (talk) 16:23, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sections moved to main page[edit]

I moved the econ header there to edit and move to main page. I thought this might help us keep track, open to suggestions though --Steven Ingram (talk) 19:29, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you move the econ section to on the main page? I added to the section in the sandbox and was going to move it over, but I did not see the Economic section. Maeolms (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:51, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I though you meant you moved the section to the actual article! I understand now. Maeolms (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:50, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Population improvements[edit]

Not much going on the page about the population on the Chile page so we should definitely build on that. I'll focus on urban vs. rural related topics involving population. I found some correlation between fertility/mortality and urbanization in this source.[1] I might also search for comparisons between females that live in the city and females that live in the countryside of Chile. I will look more into the living situations between urban and rural landscapes and how they affect the people that live there. Maria tudora (talk) 22:00, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I will expand my urban vs rural population research by also comparing the numbers to the world average to give the reader a gauge of what that actually means. I also want to see if there is a difference of income between men and women in urban areas vs income between men and women in rural areas of chile. Maria tudora (talk) 16:16, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Politics[edit]

Whoever added things to Chile's government section didn't sign their contribution, but I just wanted to let them know that I added one little thing into their paragraph. Maeolms (talk) 13:25, 15 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Trade[edit]

Copper is a huge export, there was a copper mine collapse a few years back and a bunch of miners were trapped. probably a decent sub-heading there I added a bunch from CIA world fact book, however, there is a still plenty more

I don't sign on main page because it implies ownership <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Signatures>

If you are curious who has made contributions check the view history to see what has been added by who. Steven Ingram (talk) 19:10, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

combining sections[edit]

I did what I said I'd do in the chat. I moved the Healthcare heading under Population Geography and I moved the Climate & Weather heading under agricultural geography. --Maeolms (talk) 12:49, 24 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
