New Section[edit]

Hello,

I see you did not even bother yet to create your user page. I just want to let you know that I agree with you in the changes you have been making to the Marina Oswald page. But from my own experience here at Wikipedia this will not fly, and they will probably soon block you out. I have seen over the years that there is a net of admins/sysops that exists just for the purpose of blocking out of here any views that the Oswald case is not closed by the Warren Commission report, or that there may be still room for a slight suspicion of some form of communication between people previous to the murder and connected to the murder. I.e., there is no room whatsover in Wikipedia pages, from my experience (and I have even details of stuff that was deleted from the Marina Oswald page over the years, but that I've kept a record of), for any slight suspicion that Lee Oswald acted completely alone, on his own private individual motives, on the murder/assassination of JFK.--warshytalk 13:46, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FPC Nom[edit]

Hi Alllexxxis,

I nominated the Sikh pilgrim image from Wikipedia:Picture peer review at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates - see Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Sikh pilgrim at Harmandir Sahib. I'm not entirely sure whether you are also the creator, Paulrudd? Anyway, feel free to drop by for a look. If you are wondering, you are also permitted to vote on your own images. Good luck, --jjron (talk) 14:52, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't mean to step on your toes, but some users don't like to nominate their own images. I saw the Commons nom was also done by a different user, so thought that may apply to you. Was archiving at PPR and if there's anything good that hasn't been nominated at FPC I usually do that while archiving, otherwise it tends to get forgotten about. Incidentally I also moved it into a more prominent place in the Harmandir Sahib article (you had only put it in the gallery, but I think it deserves more than that). Anyway, is doing well at the moment at FPC - the two other supporters so far are also very good photographers, so that's good praise. --jjron (talk) 00:44, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Successful featured picture nomination[edit]

An image created by you has been promoted to featured picture status
Your image, File:Meat seller in Kabul.jpg, was nominated on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates, gained a consensus of support, and has been promoted. If you would like to nominate an image, please do so at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates. Thank you for your contribution! Maedin\talk 23:19, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because you've contributed to FPC either recently or in the past, I'm letting you know about the above poll on the basis of which we may develop proposals to change our procedures and criteria. Regards, Papa Lima Whiskey (talk) 12:46, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
