We begin with a complaint:

What do you mean by "copy"? The information in the LTK article is really out-of-date. Pcb21 Pete 15:33, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
True, but it also contains much on the history of evolutionary biology that we were missing in our articles. Take a look at our page, not the LTK, and you'll see where we've found useful stuff. I'm not satisfied with just redirecting this article name to Evolution or some such until we've sucked it dry of anything it can contribute. Alba 17:26, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
As per my last comment, what *should* we copy? The "Magnitude of Variation", "Causes of Variation", etc. pages present these issues as attempted attacks on Darwin's theory. They are nothing of the sort today, since they have been incorporated into the modern evolutionary synthesis. Should we put into History of evolutionary thought how these problems were raised and then solved? The current paragraph on this period just glosses over these topics. I've added the names from the 1911 content ([diff]), but is that enough? Should we describe this more fully, taking material from here, or is the link to the biographies enough? We're about to wrap up the 1911 project. What's the status on this one? It is ready to come off the list? Kaldari 04:07, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
