Polymer sponge[edit]

Putting this in the disability category is overcategorisation. see WP:SUPERCAT

I've put Category:Bionics as subcategory of disability. That seems more helpful. Rathfelder (talk) 08:31, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Rathfelder.

Information icon Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rajiv Dixit, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 11:15, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Hyperloop One, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --WikiHannibal (talk) 08:35, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WP:LEAD[edit]

Hi, I have reverted these edits. The information really should ideally come from an academic source but in any event the lead section is not the place to introduce citations and the point you are trying to make is already said in that section.

Feel free to reinstate the material at some appropriate location in the article body but please first read the entire article because I suspect it is already there. - Sitush (talk) 11:56, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To be precise, the lead section already says There have been protests from groups outside the system who feel that it is inequitable.. That should be expanded upon in the article body. - Sitush (talk) 12:07, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Akhiljaxxn. I wanted to let you know that some of your recent contributions to Religion in Kerala have been reverted or removed because they could seem to be defamatory or libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Akhiljaxxn (talk) 12:14, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Akhiljaxxn, you are being damaging to the complete information. Why would you not believe the news reports about the farce of secularism in Kerala? Atul Kaushal 05:25, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Fylindfotberserk. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Urmila Matondkar seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:31, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Brahmin or Brahman[edit]

नमस्ते Atul Does it really matter what exact spelling is used for Hindi / Sanskrit / indian language words when the Roman script is so limited in its capability of transliterating Indian sounds ? For example, are you अटल, अतुल, or अटूल ? Since Brahmin is the more common transliteration of ब्राह्मण, I recommend that you leave that alone and spend your valuable time on more constructive edits.Regards.Jonathansammy (talk) 14:08, 10 July 2019 (UTC) Brahman is the only acceptable form for my Learner/Teacher creed.[reply]

Brahmin is the acceptable form here in English Wikipedia and most English sources I've seen in the internet. Brahman here means something else. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:02, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay, I understand that this English language is very inferior and non-accomodating. Atul Kaushal 07:03, 14 July 2019 (UTC) By the way, the Brāhmäṇ cattle Brahman was imported from India to the Americas. I thought you were knowledgeable about it. Atul Kaushal 07:05, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is not about our knowledge or the "superiority/inferiority" of English language. English use the term "Brahmin" for the caste, so we write it as per WP:COMMONNAME. Nor to mention German is termed "Deutsche" by the natives but in English it becomes "German". BTW, I'm a Brahmin myself - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:29, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may be a Brahmin but I'm a "Brāhmäņ" by birth. Atul Kaushal 15:09, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

To each his own, I'm a Brahmin as per English but a Brahman/Baaman/Brahmon/Bamun in different languages of the subcontinent. Besides your talk is not the right place to discuss any changes. Regards. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:14, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Chitpavan. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Delete my user. Wikipedia is so bigoted. The research papers I need for completing my PhD are not here anyway. Atul Kaushal 12:43, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What kind of stupid double-standard man are you? See your previous message. "User talk is not the place for such discussions." And now, "Do not add any commentary to articles." Atul Kaushal 12:47, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JimRenge. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Aks23121990 that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. That was an automated warning. You were trying to impose your POV to use the term "Brahman" in place of the commonly used English term "Brahmin" in this English Wikipedia. Rather ironic when you fail to understand simple guidelines and call other editors stupid at the same time. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:57, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I need not call you anything. You are free to assume things. Atul Kaushal 00:21, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) You know what irony means right? I could have reported you for calling me names that time. Kindly maintain civility when conversing. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:55, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You should anyway read my novel "7 Seconds: A Typical Guy, Atypical Life" (ISBN-10: 1520680961|ISBN-13: 978-1520680965) because the protagonist has the surname Kautilya. Atul Kaushal 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Date of birth of Jesus, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 05:45, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to Date of birth of Jesus appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 05:47, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Date of birth of Jesus. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Please use the article's talk page to discuss the material and its appropriate weight within the article. Thank you. Tgeorgescu (talk) 19:36, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
