Speedy deletion nomination of Line Bazar[edit]

Hello Ajit.usp,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Line Bazar for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. BiH (talk) 21:50, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Line Bazar Purnia for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Line Bazar Purnia is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Line Bazar Purnia until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 15:38, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Could you please explain why did you remove sourced content from Purnia page? Thanks. — Jakichandan (talk) 00:18, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

i reside in purnea and never heard people calling it mithila ki nagri, mithila was an ancient region centred more on northern Bihar. This part of bihar is seemanchal and because of its good weather it is called mini darjeeling or poor man's darjeelingh.Purnea is the largest jute producing district in Bihar so called the jute city and it has a large jute warehouse at Maranga.Mithila ki nagri doesn't seem to be so appropriate and do not generalise it so because one media has called it. You will not find any references like this anywhere, that's my point. Nicknames are popular names and 'mini darjeeling' suits it and people call it as well rather than mithila ki nagri. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajit.usp (talkcontribs)

@Ajit.usp: Wikipedia accepts reliable sources. Original research is not permitted. Thank you. —Jakichandan (talk) 00:20, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Ajit.usp: You can add sources for other nicknames (as you did for "Mini Darjeeling") but you can't remove reliably sourced content just based on your WP :POV. Thanks. — Jakichandan (talk) 06:33, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm GermanJoe. I noticed that you recently removed content from Bihar without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
