You're absolutely right that citations are needed but there is a standard template called WP:CITENEED which displays the request on the article page, so I've substituted that for your comments which were only visible in the editor. Also, you are right that WG was called William Gilbert Grace but there is a site convention WP:UCRN which rules that we must always use the commonly recognised name: in his case, W. G. Grace, never his forenames. If you are interested in cricket, we have a project with numerous members who enjoy writing about "the noble game". This is at WP:CRIC and you would be most welcome.
