Welcome!

Hello, ABKS, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as CorpNet.com, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Nat Gertler (talk) 18:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article CorpNet.com has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTABILITY - of the three references provided, only the Inc. blog is not simply a mention of the company in an About The Author item. (Also has the strong scent of promo to it; article had previously been attempted to be created under the name of company founder; this time has a first-time user.)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nat Gertler (talk) 18:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page CorpNet.com with this edit do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. SeaphotoTalk 16:57, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On conflicts of interest[edit]

The style of your editing raises concerns that you may have a conflict of interest in regards to the CorpNet.com article. If you are one of the Akalps, a relative of theirs, an employee of theirs, an investor in CorpNet.com, or have a similar connection, you should review the Wikipedia guidelines on conflicts of interest; editors are discouraged from editing articles where such a conflict exists, particularly where such a conflict is unstated. --Nat Gertler (talk) 17:43, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Understand your concern. However, I am only editing at the pace I am to ensure your requested changes are met. I have no affiliation with this company, other than believing they should have a page on Wikipedia as other companies in their industry have pages such as LegalZoom. I do hope that my edits are taken as helpful rather than look like biased additions.- ABKS

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:42, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your request[edit]

In the deletion discussion, you've been requesting deletion of the page's article for deletion tag. The way that those get deleted is following the deletion discussion; a third party comes along to see what the result of the discussion was. You may want to look over the Wikipedia:Guide to deletion to understand what's going on, and what you can do. --Nat Gertler (talk) 14:33, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have looked it over and thought I was doing the right thing, by complying with all suggested edits. I will take a closer look. Thank you - ABKS

Proposed deletion of CorpNet.com[edit]

Hello, you have repeatedly !voted "Keep" in this debate. Please be aware that an editor is only allowed to recommend "Keep" or "Delete" once. The closing administrator will disregard your multiple !votes, but other editors may be irritated at your attempts to !vote more than once. Cullen328 (talk) 00:26, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Thank you, sorry about that. I will no longer recommend "keep" but will update the page with any other edits I make just to share. ABKS (talk) 12:23, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
