Extensive edits in articles[edit]

I noticed your recent work on the Scottish Gaelic orthography article. Just so's you know, you can put the {{In use}} template at the top of an article. Some variations are {{In use|section}} at the top of a section, and {{In use|time=20 minutes}}. This puts a notice in the article for other editors to see. No guarantee that someone else won't edit, though. Don't forget to do a save after adding the template, or it won't be there to see. Then reopen the edit window and continue your work. Be sure to remove it when you are finished, or are taking a break from editing. Convention is that if you see the template in an article that hasn't been edited in a couple hours, it's fair game to remove it. Thanks for your contributions. signed, Willondon (talk) 14:37, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
