July 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to Beetlejuice. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Ajh16 (talk) 20:59, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. →Christian 21:05, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To whom it may concern. I reject the notion that I have been engaging in "vandalism" of any kind here. I also reject, and I deeply, deeply, insulted by the notion that I am promoting any sort of bias or prejudice against anyone person or group. My comments on the film Beetlejuice are 100% accurate and, with all due respect, the only person that would have a problem with it would be some type of homophobic jerk. The character in question is clearly intended to be understood as being gay, and is coyly referred to as such. I am requesting an apology for such written falsehoods against by good name.

September 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page LGBT rights in Russia has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'members\.aol\.com' (link(s): http://members.aol.com/wockner/russia.html) .

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ballot Access News has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): geocities\.com (links: http://www.geocities.com/edwardtjbrown/fod.htm).

I fail to see how it is 'unconstructive'. It is a well known fact, even stated in the article itself. Does Wikipedia feel the need to engage in homophobia?

March 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to S.H.I.E.L.D. appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Hi! Perhaps your edit to S.H.I.E.L.D. could have been worded more neutrally? Sarwicked (talk) 17:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I disagree with your statements and find them to be false and insulting.

Hi! I recently reverted one of your edits. I apologize if I accidentally insulted you; it was not my intention. I see that a number of your edits have been reverted or altered, but I don't think that it's necessarily due to homophobia. Personally, I am a strong advocate of LGTB rights and have a zero-tolerance policy for homophobia. In fact, I understand why you made many of your edits, and I agree with you. However, I feel (and I guess some of the other editors above also feel this way) that your edits might have been worded more neutrally. I would like to see some of them reinstated, but just worded differently. Even if you disagree on a personal level, it might help your cause to do some rewording just so your edits will be allowed to stick. Again, I apologize if I offended! Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Homosexuality in India, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page LGBT rights in Egypt has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2gk3_guyn8). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 02:38, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of post-Ellen American television episodes with LGBT themes. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of post-Ellen American television episodes with LGBT themes. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:22, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to To the Stars: The Autobiography of George Takei. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Cirt (talk) 21:14, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Red Scare, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Mark Foley. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. (talk) 19:18, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Question: How can it be unreferenced, when Newsweek articled -- cited in the article entry makes mention of this fact? I do not see how that fits the definition of libel or slander, when it is from statements made by Newsweek magazine.

Assuming you're referring to this edit, it's unsourced because you don't include any reference as to where you obtained this information. Cheers. Doniago (talk) 20:40, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question: I did cite the sources, is that acceptable? I do not want to violate and rules here [sniff, sniff, SOB, SOB], but I thought it was worth talking about his record with regards to gay rights.

If the information appears controversial, add a footnote right next to the information you are adding rather than relying on the citation being somewhere nearby. That way there is no confusion. Sometimes it is worth explaining your addition on the talk page and then saying "see talk page" in your edit comment. These steps make it easy to assume good faith on your part. See Referencing for beginners with citation templates. To re-iterate; as you have been warned about your additions already, take extra care to be absolutely clear in the edit comment as to what you are doing. (talk) 15:44, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, do you want me to cite something that proves why the homosexuality of a character was left out, per the Hays Code rules?

Yes you should cite a reference something like this one. [1] Vrenator (talk) 15:40, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
