Wikipedia is not a forum[edit]

I see that in the past you have been asked not to use Wikipedia as a forum. Your recent edit at Talk:Oliver Anthony suggests you haven't really taken that advice. Wikipedia is not a forum. If you wish to improve an article with reliable source please feel free, but edits like the one you left are not productive. Thanks! Nemov (talk) 18:55, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm providing context to the discussion about whether the article is relevant. you're using wikipedia as a forum. I provided a reliable source in my comment. did you bother reading it? 69.113.236.26 (talk) 02:57, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
also are you violating NPOV? your bio says you live in the same place as Oliver Anthony, the astroturfed country music guy. if you have something to contribute that counters what I'm providing, perhaps you should provide that instead of just blatantly erasing the sources I provided. 69.113.236.26 (talk) 03:02, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Instead of being defensive, please review WP:NOTAFORUM. If you have you issue with the article being on Wikipedia you can proceed to the deletion discussion that's currently on going, but general comments like you've left so far aren't useful. The TALK is for discussion about content in the article. Nemov (talk) 03:40, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
also FWIW the previous comments here are for someone else who had the same IP as me. there are no requirements to be signed in to edit wikipedia. I think you should familiarize yourself with the talk page guidelines before unilaterally deciding to erase (and censor) helpful contributions such as the one I made. 69.113.236.26 (talk) 03:05, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024[edit]

Hello, I'm Codename Noreste. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Streisand effect, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Codename Noreste 🤔 𝙇𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙖 16:50, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

how can I cite something done on wikipedia if it was censored and removed? 69.113.236.26 (talk) 16:52, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First, do you see the inline note like this? Please do not add examples unless accompanied by sources that actually refer to the Streisand effect by name and that give solid evidence that the attempt to censor increased the publicity of the item in question. Examples that don't will be removed. Thank you for your cooperation :)
You might be looking to see the deletion discussion about that page here, and if there is no reliable source, then it should not be added to the Streisand effect article. Thank you. Codename Noreste 🤔 𝙇𝙖 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙖 16:59, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
