I agree 100% In the first book when Draco called Hermione a mud blood, Harry not knowing what this meant though it was because of her dark skin. The books clearly state that Hermione has dark skin, however like you said she has pale skin in the movies. But despite this, Emma Watson is a amazing actresses and is prefect for this role. No one else but Emma is fit for this role, even if her skin is dark, and she doesn't have buck teeth, her hair and attitude line up perfectly with Hermiones.
