License tagging for Image:Freemans Australia logo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Freemans Australia logo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Freemans Australia logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Freemans Australia logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:17, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Freemans[edit]

If you must keep recreating your article about Freemans, please could you stop linking to disambiguation pages? Most place names in Australia need to be linked as [[Placename, State]] because of the startling lack of imagination of the white settlers who founded them. A tag has been placed on The Executive Connection - TEC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Hanrob Dog Training, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Hanrob Dog Training is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Hanrob Dog Training, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 06:58, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've noted the "hangon" tag you applied to the above-captioned page (which is unaccompanied by any assertions on the talk page as to the non-advertising nature of the page). I haven't noted any reliable sources which corroborate the assertions you've made about the company in question, there is no particular assertion of notability, and the mere existence of a company is not a sufficient reason to maintain a Wikipedia article, so I've decided to agree with the editor who tagged the article for speedy deletion. If you have any questions that aren't covered by the introductory material cited in the welcome message above (such as WP:Why was my article deleted?), feel free to leave me a note. Copyright problems with Maverick Biosciences[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Maverick Biosciences, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.maverickbio.com/about.php. As a copyright violation, Maverick Biosciences appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Maverick Biosciences has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike then you should do one of the following:

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you. JNW (talk) 01:01, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I saw your comment on the talk page:

I am from a digital marketing agency that is working with Maverick Biosciences. We have permission to use content from the website for this article. 2sticks (talk) 01:17, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

  • There are two problems with this
    1. To verify that you actually are a person authorized to release this content to Wikipedia under our site license, you need to follow one of the processes described on Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
    2. Even if you are authorized, that doesn't make this text appropriate for an encyclopedia article. Wikipedia articles are supposed to be descriptive, not promotional, and they are supposed to reference reliable sources, independent of the article's subject, to establish that the subject is notable. Just copying text from the company's website doesn't accomplish those goals, and the article is highly likely to be deleted in its current form even if copyright permission is verified. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 15:33, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for advertising or self-promoting in violation of our conflict of interest policy and notability guidelines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. – Toon(talk) 18:09, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
