Welcome[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 2600:1004:B16F:41E8:64A7:604F:1D44:5197, made test edits on the page Help talk:Section which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to perform. If 2600:1004:B16F:41E8:64A7:604F:1D44:5197 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, visit the Teahouse, our help forum for new users, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Drmies (talk) 21:09, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looked at this weeks ago and cannot understand the details. All I want is for my block to be reversed, and a named source acceptable to be a senior editor inserted. 2600:1004:B16F:41E8:64A7:604F:1D44:5197 (talk) 22:54, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • You're not blocked. Editors from this range are blocked from editing race and intelligence related topics, but that's not the same matter. You posted something in the wrong place that didn't make a lot of sense anyway, this, but I placed a note on Talk:The Henry Ford. And no, we are NOT going to insert a source for you. Also, please do not think that every single item in a museum needs to be listed in an encyclopedic article. Drmies (talk) 23:20, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(1)The Henry Ford Museum bought a locomotive in 2008 that could not be moved later from NY State to Dearborn, MI.

(2)On 1/17/22, it deeded it back to the seller there.

(3)The Ford museum has not amended its own site to delete the GG1 as a part of its collection. I posted the new text on its Wikipedia article to set the record straight, and maybe this get them to amend their own list of locomotives there. Leaving 2 phone messages and then taking to the top Curator was useless.

Don’t any of you editors who read this care about the truth? 2600:1004:B16F:41E8:64A7:604F:1D44:5197 (talk) 04:19, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
