November 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, William Fairfax, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donald Albury 17:08, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Donald, unfortunately this is a shared IP address. I am unsure of who made the edit but it is likely safer to undo anything that isn't substantiated by proper sources made by users from this IP Address. I apologize for the inconvenience and do appreciate your efforts to sanitize potential malicious edits on different pages.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.24.45.22 (talk)

You should consider creating an account. If you have an account, you can edit Wikipedia even if the IP assigned to your device has been blocked, and you will not see notices addressed to the IP. Also, for future reference, you should sign any posts you make to a talk page with four tildes ~~~~. This will attach your signature and a time stamp to your comment.
