March 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to List of wars involving the United States, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of wars involving the United States. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. SantiLak (talk) 02:53, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at List of wars involving the United States. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. SantiLak (talk) 02:53, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Dakota War of 1862. Shakopee was tried and executed, not killed in action as you stated in the article. Little Crow as shot by a settler after the end of the war, not killed in action as you stated. Please do not add misleading or incorrect information to articles. Edison (talk) 21:51, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

April 2015[edit]

I'm not going to offer a standard warning, because the edits the person using this ip address recently made are somewhat reasonable, but unfortunately not practical. As far as I know, you have done nothing to deserve discouragement from editing. So welcome to Wikipedia. However, as I mention in my edit summary, the infobox list on Confederate States Army can only hold so many listings before it becomes impractical. Users may disagree on exactly which engagements do and do not belong on such a list, but I think we can agree that none of the Florida engagements can be listed in the same class as Gettysburg, Vicksburg, or Shiloh. Please do not feel discouraged. I invite you to continue making contributions. When I was new another editor recommended I try my hand at stub-class articles, articles which need improvement and where I could work and learn about editing Wikipedia without too much supervision. I extend this same invitation to you. Here's a list of such small pages which desperately need the help of someone knowledgeable and interested. Here's a list of units which need assistance. Here's a list of people. Notice there will be a fair number of Florida-related pages on these lists. If I can help you, please call on me here on your own talk page. I'll keep watching. If I miss your request, please visit me at my own talk page, which is linked in my signature. BusterD (talk) 00:55, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
