Request for Restoration of the Parvati Kurakula Article[edit]

Dear @Explicit @Jimfbleak

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to respectfully request the restoration of the article on Parvati Kurakula, which was deleted on 3rd September 2023 and previously on 7th March 2022. As the article's creator and contributor, I have some concerns and would appreciate your professional consideration.

I understand that there were valid reasons for the previous deletions; however, I would like to express my commitment to addressing any concerns and improving the article to meet Wikipedia's content guidelines and policies.

Regarding the most recent deletion associated with the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Parvati kurakula @XFDcloser, I was not notified or involved in the discussion process. I am keen to understand the specific reasons that led to the deletion and whether there were any recommendations or feedback provided during the discussion that could guide the article's improvement.

In my contributions to the article, I made efforts to establish Parvati Kurakula's notability by highlighting her role in founding a journalism website and providing credible sources to support this claim. I believe that with the proper adjustments and adherence to Wikipedia's standards, the article can offer valuable information to readers.

I kindly request your assistance in restoring the article so that I can work on refining it and ensuring its compliance with Wikipedia's guidelines. I am eager to collaborate with you and the Wikipedia community to achieve this goal.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Your guidance in this matter would be highly appreciated. You can see discussion Here [Need Your Help Moving Article "Parvati Kurakula" to Main Space] सीमा कश्यप (talk) 05:13, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@सीमा कश्यप I had informed you about the deletion when you talked to me on my talk page, and you were also notified by a bot on your talk page. I had also explain to you on my talk page that regarding the deletion, the community's decision regarding the article will be upheld which is what had happened. I took your article to deletion discussion whilst explaining that that you are welcome to add sources and state that you have done so in the discussion for others to rereview. However, you have not done this, therefore it was not proven that your article meets notability standards, and was thus deleted. You will always be able to look at the discussion again.
I also understand that you are using ChatGPT to communicate. I have recommended highly against this, as you will not understand fully what I am trying to say, just like what has happened now. Competence is required whilst editing the English Wikipedia, and if you do not understand English to the point that you cannot communicate without any assistance, it is a good sign that you should stick to editing the Hindi Wikipedia - your contributions will be highly valuable there. Karnataka talk 09:09, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Karnataka Thank you for your response and for providing further context regarding the deletion of the Parvati Kurakula article. I appreciate your patience in explaining the situation.
I want to clarify that I have added sources and made significant improvements to the article in line with the feedback and guidance from the Wikipedia community. Based on the knowledge I have gained from engaging with the community and understanding Wikipedia's content guidelines, I believe the article now meets notability standards.
I understand your concerns about using ChatGPT as a communication tool. My intention in utilizing this tool is to facilitate more effective communication and content creation, as it assists in generating coherent responses. However, I respect your recommendation, and I am committed to ensuring that my contributions align with Wikipedia's standards, regardless of the communication method used.
In light of this, I kindly request the restoration of the Parvati Kurakula article to its previous state. This will allow me to make further improvements and address any potential issues in the article collaboratively with the Wikipedia community.
I will review the discussion and continue to make necessary improvements to the article based on community feedback. If there are specific areas or aspects that require further attention, please feel free to let me know, and I will address them promptly.
Once again, thank you for your guidance, and I look forward to collaborating with the Wikipedia community to enhance the quality of the Parvati Kurakula article. सीमा कश्यप (talk) 11:09, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it. Please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • the article was previously deleted by a deletion discussion. The article was tagged for a week before the discussion was closed, so you had the opportunity to participate, but presumably chose not to do so. I would need a very good reason to restore after an AFD has deemed her not to meet our notability criteria
  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • Your sources were not acceptable, they were associated with her, or otherwise unreliable. One, "India's Leading Online Digital Media Platform for Unbiased News Stories"., was removed by an admin because it was an SEO/PR page pretending to be a news site.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • Such as becoming a recognized entrepreneur... garnered attention for its inspirational aspects. Her contributions extend beyond her ventures, serving as an example for individuals aspiring to achieve their goals through dedication and innovation...
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. 3.Neutral Tone and Verifiable Facts: Throughout the article's creation, I've maintained a neutral tone and provided content consisting solely of verifiable facts. Opinions and reviews have been intentionally omitted.
4.Original Content: I want to emphasize that all content in the article has been authored by me, ensuring that it adheres to Wikipedia policies and guidelines.

In light of these improvements, my commitment to upholding Wikipedia standards, and my gratitude for the assistance provided by the admin, I kindly request the restoration of the Parvati Kurakula article. Thank you for your time and support. सीमा कश्यप (talk) 11:47, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The fact remains that your sources are inadequate, she has been deemed not to be notable, and you have ignored the COI query. If you still wish to pursue this, you will need to start from scratch Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:12, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Jimfbleak
I want to express my gratitude for the time and attention you've dedicated to this matter and for your patience in explaining the situation. I would like to respond to your points:
1.Inadequate Sources: I have taken your feedback seriously and have diligently added sources that, in my view, demonstrate Parvati Kurakula's notability. These sources include reputable outlets like Google News, Reliable sources and books. I believe these additions provide a more comprehensive picture of her notability.
2.Notability: I understand that the community's consensus was that Parvati Kurakula did not meet the notability criteria during the deletion discussion. However, based on the sources I've added, I firmly believe that she does meet these criteria now. I kindly request a fresh evaluation in light of the additional sources provided.
3.COI Query: I want to assure you that I take the issue of conflict of interest (COI) seriously. While I did not directly address it in my previous responses, I am committed to transparency and will adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines regarding COI editing. I will ensure that all contributions are made in accordance with these guidelines moving forward.
I am open to starting anew if that is the community's preference, but I genuinely believe that the article can be improved and made to meet the notability standards with the sources I've added. I kindly request another review, and I am fully prepared to collaborate with the Wikipedia community to achieve this.
Thank you once again for your time and consideration. सीमा कश्यप (talk) 12:34, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @RickinBaltimore @Karnataka
@Explicit @Jimfbleak
I find myself in a situation where my Wikipedia account has been blocked indefinitely with the assertion that I am not here to build an encyclopedia. While I may not agree with this assessment, I have decided to respect the decision.
Therefore, I request that all Wikipedia administrators proceed with blocking my account as they see fit, and I additionally request the deletion of my Wikipedia user page. It seems that my presence here is not valued, and I believe it is in the best interest of all parties involved to bring this matter to a close.
I would like to convey my disappointment in the lack of support and guidance from administrators for new contributors on Wikipedia. It is my belief that those with the power and knowledge to help foster a positive and collaborative environment should do so.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I trust that it will be resolved as per the established procedures.

Suggestion[edit]

If English is not your first language, edit in a Wikipedia version for your best language. Another established, trusted editor here can translate it and add the content to this Wikipedia.

Do not use ChatGPT here.

DEAR @A. B.
I appreciate your message and the suggestion you've put forth. While English is not my first language, I do have a good command of it. I used ChatGPT only one time to communicate with a @Karnataka, but I can communicate in English effectively.
Thank you for considering this, and if there are any specific steps or recommendations you have for further improving my contributions, please feel free to share them. Your guidance and insights would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely सीमा कश्यप (talk) 10:39, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I commented because it looked like you were getting a lot of negative feedback and that can be discouraging. Also, ChatGPT really upsets editors which is why I advised against it; if I was brusque in my comments, I apologize.
