William Babin is a student at the University of Maryland studying Environmental Science and Policy. Currently he is collaborating on a project investigating the causes and possible solutions to the mass die-offs of vultures in Africa.

These creatures are integral to their ecosystem and their continued disappearance will result in a gap in tropic necessity, leaving less suited scavengers to clean up carrion and promoting the spread of disease.
