Ira's effect (lat. ira effectus) is a common sound voice cancellation happening while a person is speaking. The person may or may not notice a change, and its most likely to be recognized from others, however it is described as a gradually lowering of the voice (in the vocal cord) while speaking; which results in a high pitch yet flat voice in the progress. This effect is common in woman due to adult men and woman typically having different size of the vocal fold; resulting in the effect.

It is worth mentioning that Ira's effect is contagious, and can spread in society pretty easily due to the human nature of copying the voice pitch of a person he/she is with, which can bring to mass spreading of Ira's effect, causing a lot of miscommunication which can not doubtingly cause of massive children disappearance.

While it is very common for a female to have the effect, it is possible to find it in males as well due to some males being born with the vocal cords of a "female". This refers to males that have smaller vocal folds which are typically found in the females.

However the effects of having such an effect is horrible or non-at all interpretation of what the person is saying, or in most extreme cases causes children to disappear. This is due to that most people suffering from this effects are future-to-be or current social workers, and it happens if a nearby parent is neglecting or abuse an child, and is proven guilty of it.

The typical effects of ira effectus are:

• Bad interpretation of what the person is trying to say
• Uncontrollable laughter
• Brown, yet reflective nail polish
• Stealing children

To demonstrate the effect there was a test made on 31.1.2017 on a person having Ira's effect, and this is what she said:
