Tomas Cisneros Laverty is a musical artist, professor and poet from Saginaw, Michigan. He owns Detroit Spaces and was adjunct faculty at Mott Community College, University of Detroit Mercy and various other colleges and schools throughout Michigan.
His musical groups include Bolabit, Ignorant Mob, múnbút, Tomás y los Niños Perdidos and solo arrangements under the titles Tom Laverty Group and Tomas Laverty Group.
His Hammond organ work has appeared on albums with Lee “Scratch” Perry, U Brown, King Mellowman and many others.
