Hello everyone,

My name is Maxime Girard and I'm fairly involved in anime conventions through eastern Canada. I co-founded Festival Nadeshicon with the assistance of Club Animé Québec members at Université Laval. I have been part of Club Animé Québec since 2008. I also help verious other conventions such as Otakuthon, Anime North and Montreal Comiccon. I am still active in all these events through various positions.

I am not yet very knowledgeable about Wikipedia, but I certainly do visit hundreds of pages yearly if not more. I hope to become capable in editing within the following year so I can one day truly contribute to this wonderful free encyclopedia.

I'm almost 29 years old, am interested in Japanese culture and have studied a bit in International Studies and Mondern Languages at Université Laval. I'll add more here as time goes by. It will be a pleasure to collaborate with every single one of you!
