Ronald Franklin "Ronnie" Mckay was born on September 1, 1983 in Cumming, Georgia to William "Bill" Mckay, a native of Cleveland, Mississippi and his wife, the former Karen Bishop of Gadsden, Alabama. He is of Irish, Italian, Scottish, English, and Native American descent. descent. He grew up in Atlanta, Warner Robins, Macon, Birmingham, Alabama, and Starkville, Mississippi, where he also resides today. He is a 2003 graduate of East Mississippi Community College and a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University.
