My name is Roberto Mosca and I am a computer scientist working as a researcher in Bioinformatics.
I currently work on the analysis of protein-protein interactions using structural data. Previously I have worked on the realization of bioinformatics tools for the analysis and comparison of protein structures and, in particular, tools for the flexible structural alignment of proteins and for the analysis of ensembles of protein structures (RAPIDO, ESCET). I have done a PhD in bioinformatics on the development of computational tools for the analysis of genomic sequences. In particular during my PhD I applied several algorithmic techniques to the analysis of promoter sequences and to the alignment of sequences of entire genomes.
