Roger Wilmut

Retired BBC Studio Manager (World Service): author of several books on broadcast comedy (see entry not written by me though sourced from my website). Born 1942 in Stratford-on-Avon, attended Warwick School 1953-1961, worked for the BBC 1961-1995 full time - first as a Control Room Technical Operator and then as a Studio Manager (operating studio mixing desks etc.) - and then as a casual until 2007.
