This user is a declared alternative account of User:Lankiveil. This is explicitly permitted by the alternative accounts policy, which states that "An editor might use an alternative account to carry out maintenance tasks, or to segregate functions such as work with specific kinds of media files, so as to maintain a user talk page dedicated to the purpose.".

The purpose of this account is to provide a separate account for a project I am undertaking with the Queensland University of Technology and the State Library of Queensland to generate documentation to assist GLAM institutions in placing local studies material on Wikipedia. Creating a separate account will allow me to see the site without all the gadgets and doodads my primary account has attached, will not put me on whitelists so my contributions will be assessed as any new account's contributions would be treated, and allow me to direct interest parties to the work done on this project without having to pick through my "personal" editing.

I will not be receiving any wage, salary, honourarium, or other pecuniary benefit of any kind, for work performed on this account.
