Gill Harvey[edit]

Talk:Lauren Brooke#No such person?

Oops, that is double-el Gill Harvey at DNB --where note also Autorin, female author (Gillian?).
As many as six distinct Gill Harveys (probably 2 or 3) are represented at VIAF: [4](1967) [5](1963) [6](Cooking lt) [7](Burkina Faso nl) [8](Gulliver's Travels dk) [9](1963).
--P64 (talk) 20:20, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
minutes later I have inferred 1=3=5 (b. 1967) and 2=6 (b. 1963); the Burkina Faso travel guide contributor may be distinct. The first as a heavy-duty children's writer/adaptor is most plausibly one writer as Lauren Brooke. --P64 (talk) 21:01, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
Gill Harvey at Library of Congress, with 1 library catalogue records (2006, first children's fiction --Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom-- by London nonfiction writer); Usborne adaptations; Usborne soccer school

work 2015-03[edit]

Is this useful? Compiling two batches for report on the main page I find that four VIAF identifiers are now redirects, perhaps because I added some component authority ID to our biography footer. (Grifasi, Helquist, and 2 Ortiz-Patiño) VIAF 278098836; VIAF 277706067; VIAF 18153457 VIAF 311498357. (Occasionally this winter I revised WikiData but do not add multiple VIAF identifiers there.)

Wikipedia talk:Authority control#verylongheading

Here is some record of activity at VIAF, EN.wiki (our biography), and WD (WikiData) for Jaime Ortiz-Patiño.
End January 2015 there were four VIAF bundles, one comprising EN.wiki and the Vatican library; three singletons for each of LCCN, GND, and SUDOC. Our biography template {{Authority control}} then specified the VIAF and LCCN parameters (from 2014-06-12). I added the GND and SUDOC parameters (diff 2015-01-31 latest). Now six weeks later the VIAF bundles for EN.wiki-cum-Vatican and GND and SUDOC have been merged, VIAF 256824475; the former singletons VIAF 18153457 and VIAF 311498357 redirect there. There is one inter-language link whose target includes no relevant data (NL.wiki code).
WikiData history shows 2014-07-22 someone added VIAF=256824475 w/ref our biography but did not add LCCN from the same source (six weeks after I added template {{Authority control}} here, and defined both parameters). End January, I added LCCN, GND, and SUDOC identifiers at WD when I added GND and SUDOC identifiers here (not my routine, from IP address). Only this week a robot added the Vatican identifier w/ref VIAF.
The singleton VIAF 63793031 remains, eight months after provision of LCCN=no/2007/094114 in our biography footer; six weeks after its provision at WD.
P.S. I never reported the four parallel VIAF bundles at Wikipedia:VIAF/errors#Parallel VIAF clusters for one identity. Now I report the two that remain. --P64 (talk) 22:53, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
