I am a Civil Engineer based in the UK. I am a member of two Expert Panels for the Institution of Civil Engineers : Sustainability http://www.ice.org.uk/topics/environment

& Municipal Engineering http://www.ice.org.uk/topics/community . I was the editor of the journal Municipal Engineer http://www.icevirtuallibrary.com/content/serial/muen;jsessionid=ehlnnes1in46s.z-telford-01 from 2008 to 2012. Prior to this I was the chief Technical Officer for several Councils in the West Midlands, London and the South East.
