This article lists the colonial administrators of the Great East. Great East was the colony of the Dutch Empire as well as governorate of the Dutch East Indies from 1938 until its independence in 1946 as the State of the Great East. Although it became a separate polity in 1946, the Great East was still under the colonial influence of the Dutch East Indies until 1950 when the United States of Indonesia was disestablished, thus dissolving the Great East into several Indonesian provinces.
from 24 December 1946 it became the Crown Commissioner of the East Indonesia (Dutch: Commissaris van de Kroon voor Oost-Indonesië) serving alongside the prime minister and president of East Indonesia.
