Batavi (military unit)

This may seem like a stretch tying into History of Science, but as we all know war has great influence/ impact on the history of everything. As you will see Batavi was a sect of the Roman Empire. The Romans had a great impact on the influence of the creation of the western world, so why not contribute to one of the fiercest fighting forces of history, which ultimate helped shape the modern world in everything.
