What is this place?

This is a gathering place for WikiDragons and WikiOtters. WikiDragons are good at large edits, and WikiOtters are good at helping other editors on odd jobs. These two WikiFauna are so complementary we couldn't resist the opportunity to see what good could come from their collaborations.

This is also a sort of meeting place, where we share what's going on, what our latest projects are, etc.

A IUCN report was reportedly being made.

On July 2, 2021, there were at least 247 WikiDragons in the wild. 19 new WikiDragons were tagged. 1 death among the new generation was discovered. Tags have been improved as a false WikiDragon was in the census. The population growth of this species has gotten slower recently.

On July 2, 2021, there were an estimated 8 WikiOtters in the wild. 11 new specimens were tagged; 0 previous specimens were tagged. The species is at risk of being Extinct soon as WikiOtters become dead or only semi-active. WikiOtters with the traits of a WikiGoose are increasingly common, a threat to the species though the population has increased from the last census.

Previous: 2013

On 31 December 2013, there were an estimated 240 WikiDragons in the wild. A total of 14 WikiDragons were tagged, including 10 new WikiDragons and 1 previously thought dead. As such, the previous population is now believed to have been around 192 due to the knowledge that the WikiDragon may become dormant for as long as 32 months before becoming active once again. Population has grown 25%. The species can no longer be considered Critically Endangered and has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines.

On 31 December 2013, there were an estimated 3 WikiOtters in the wild. 3 new specimens were tagged; 0 previous specimens were tagged. It has thus been confirmed that the WikiOtter is not in fact extinct. The species can no longer be considered Possibly Extinct and has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines.

It has thus been confirmed that the WikiOtter is not in fact extinct. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines.

Population decline is 7%. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines.

On 30 June 2011, there were an estimated 103 WikiDragons in the wild. A total of 11 WikiDragons were tagged, including 7 new WikiDragons. Theories of hibernation or brumation appear to have been correct. Population increase is 71%. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines. On 30 June 2011, there were an estimated 5 WikiOtters in the wild. The only tagged specimen was different from the one found last season. Short lifespan of WikiOtters has been confirmed; hibernation does not appear to come into play in this species. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines. July through December, 2010

On 31 December 2010, there were an estimated 73 WikiDragons in the wild. A total of 4 WikiDragons were tagged. No new WikDragons were identified. This may indicate a seasonal lifestyle or may be the result of a reduction in offspring. One WikiDragon missed in the previous tagging was identified, upping the estimation from the early half of the year to 146 WikiDragons. Hibernation may account for this. Assuming hibernation is common, an additional 8 WikiDragons can be added to the expected 65, bringing the current population estimate to 73. This is a drastic reduction from the previous census. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines. On 31 December 2010, there were an estimated 5 WikiOtters in the wild. The results are only mildly surprising, however, since they match the results from this season last year. WikiOtters are likely less active during the second half of the year, possibly due to breeding season occurring during the spring and early summer. No previously known specimens were relocated this time, however, a single new specimen was tagged. The disappearance of all tagged specimens may be the result of a short lifespan. The species has been reevaluated by the Department of Fun as Critically Endangered using the IUCN 3.1 guidelines. I'm working on a range of articles to prevent Earth's most important archaeological site (known as Kharsag in the Barton Cylinder or the Garden of Eden in the Bible, Book of Jubilees and 2 Enoch) from being destroyed by urbanization of Kfar Qouq, near Rashaya, Lebanon. This includes archaeologists, paleo-botanists, archaeological sites nearby, museums and research bodies, ancient proto-pottery and pottery, arrowheads, megaliths, stone circles and anything showing the neolithic revolution started in the Rashaya South Basin in the Beqaa Valley.
