Hello I received the Laser name from a noteworthy NCAA coach before the 3 point line was added to College play. Already having the nickname "X" because of an uncanny ability at long range shots and an unreal uncanny ability to do a turn around shot at half court, that was further compounded by the Video Game era being rampant and my national or local records on Star Wars, I Robot, ZooKeeper, Rally X, Major Havoc and Ms Pacman etc., the Laser name became perma-fixed when I chased down people together to help buy into the first Laser Tag facility known as Photon. That endeavor failed originally - as well as a subsequent endeavor to acquire the bankrupt entity Q-Zar from the Hunt brothers in Texas. Although I did finally meet up with the party who purchased all the remaining Q-Zar assets from the Hunt's of Texas.

Upon getting married, my wife would hang up the phone if anyone asked for Laser, so the middle name of Steven for years.

My first love above all else continues to be basketball, but gave it up as well, due to my wife stating I loved BB more than her and feeling guilty about the veracity of the statement.

Take a jock's appetite and take away the fuel burning BB endeavors and you get a hungry hippo!

Currently my claim to small fame has been Poker Tournament cirlces as Laser the Liquidator. This is because I worked in bankruptcies, liquidations and turnarounds. Made somewhat more infamous due to hmy battle with the Dept of Justice over the eToys saga.

Though I reside in OK, the eToys case forces travels to Delaware and CA often.

Everyone in California initially believed the press story about Jamie Gold defrauding Leyser - because many new that I did have business dealings with Jamie Gold, who won the WSOP event a few years ago. Those that know me as Laser Von Liquidator in the Poker world, know me for previously be one of the most generous givers of a good will chips when I win a poker tournament. (Over compensating genoristy is a bad practice to engage upon if you wish to become a professional Tourney player).

However, Jamie Gold's actions were actually defended by this Laser, who was somewhat taken aback at how many people were ready to jump on Jamie Gold's grave, not knowing the facts.

Jamie Gold was not put in the WSOP by Leyser and Laser Haas is not the Leyser the press was referring to.(there are still people that walk up to me this day and congragulate me on getting half of his $12 million).

A recent book deal offered to Laser, once he achieved his 50th Poker Tounament win was nixed because Laser refused to seek Jamie Gold's endorsement of his book - An Amateur's pathway to Winning Tournament Poker.

Laser spends all his time, outside of surviving, by helping others in their pursuits for justice. Such as Meryl Lanson at www.fraudonthecourt.blogspot.com , David O'Donnell at www.bankruptcymisconduct.com, Maurice Hurley with his pursuits to seek justice in the Rick Convertino and James Traficant sagas and a new projects of the victim Donna Sturman, Tom Petters fraud victims.

From the Petters debacle (as Petter was a partner with Paul Traub from eToys) also there arose the Marc Dreier saga and his confession to fraud. The quest for justice looms large in all of those cases and I happen to have the Dept of Justice's rogue elements by the tail!

The eToys saga is my profession, all other items or endeavors, hobbies and charitable works.

I will remain single.

I hope to start websites and TV program that helps others find justice when this case is settled by a proper adjudication upon the merits.
