I plan to contribute added citations from reliable sources to my article on Modesty. I also plan to add details about muslims preferences concerning modesty because it is an important part of their religion. Understanding Muslim's version of modesty helps us understand it on a wide spectrum. Additionally, I plan to make the article more gender neutral from the beginning and talk about modesty in men a little more. I also want to add a section on Amish people under the christianity tab because modesty is obviously important in the way they dress. I also plan to cover the "free the nipple movement"

In some societies, modesty may involve women covering their bodies completely and not talking to men who are not immediate family members; in others, a fairly revealing but one-piece bathing costume is considered modest when other women wear bikinis. Modesty is less emphasized in men, but is still held as a virtue to some. Free the Nipple Movement[edit]

Free the Nipple Movement began in 2012 when Lina Esco began writing the film titled Free the Nipple. The general plot of this film is that a group of women confront New York City with demonstrations that challenge gender inequalities within the justice system regarding public nudity. It specifically calls into question why a nipple will appeared censored in film while violence is ubiquitously glorified. The movement advocates for gender equality and seeks to decrease the imbalanced emphasis on modesty for women by encouraging them to be topless in public just as men are legally and socially allowed to do. [3] Similar to Naturists, Free the Nipple supporters promote nudity, but only from the waist up.[4] Their aim is to decrease sexualization of women's bodies. [5]
