User:KConWiki/Some of the articles, categories, and templates I have started
Articles[edit]
- The March trilogy
- One True Vine
- Paul C. Nagel (I also made Paul Nagle as a redirect for misspelling but then realized that there was someone of that name who is an Irish race driver. I then ended up making Paul Nagel (Swiss politician) and the disambig page Paul Nagel.)
- Son of a Gunfighter
- Garry McCarthy
- Edna Greene Medford
- Heidi Ewing
- William Lee Miller
- Detropia
- The Bamboo Saucer
- Ari Hoogenboom
- Neil Baldwin
- The Lincoln-Douglas Debates (1994 reenactments)
- American Presidents: Life Portraits
- American Writers: A Journey Through History
- In Depth
- The Real Ambassadors. This article made it to the front page of the English-language Wikipedia on 5/31/07. TRA is probably my favorite jazz album (and one of my favorite albums period). I was surprised to see that a) There was no Wikipedia entry for it, and b) There was not much about it on the Web that I could find easily. Please feel free to edit if you have better information than I do, and do yourself a favor and pick up a copy -- you won't regret it!
- Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
- Joan Graves. Her name popped up in an obituary I read for Jack Valenti, and I had recently seen This Film Is Not Yet Rated. Currently a stub.
- USS Tabberer (DE-418). I created this after I read the book Halsey's Typhoon, which I highly recommend. Accurately capturing the activity of the captain and crew of this ship during December, 1944's Typhoon Cobra is an excellent way for Wikipedians to pay tribute to their heroic actions.
The Truth Laid Bear. The TTLB Ecosystem is often used in the blogosphere, and again I was surprised to see there was no page. Stubbish.- Obviously, someone deleted this.
- Jerry Baker, TV gardener
- Penn & Teller: Off the Deep End
- The Nightingale's Song
- La route de Corinthe
- The Antonio Treatment
Spurious awareness- this got deleted- May 2010 Tennessee flooding (redirected to May 2010 Tennessee floods a couple days later)
- Willard Sterne Randall
- Hollingsworth Morse
- Girl 27 - A fascinating documentary about a covered-up rape scandal involving the MGM movie studios in the 1930s. (Also, maybe one for the writer of that documentary, David Stenn. Possibly also Eloise Spann.)
- Elliott White Springs, WWI pilot and advertising idea man. (Still would like to bulk this up some more.)
- America in the King Years
Categories[edit]
- Category:Cultural depictions of George Washington
- I am a big jazz fan and I think it is useful to learn about the people who contributed to the jazz scene through contributions other than actual musical performances. None of these are currently complete(?).
- Started quite a few of the sub-categories here: Category:Television shows set in the United States
