Suspected sockpuppets

RickK is a former administrator and was a strong defender of Wikipedia, reverting tons of vandalism. Then, on June 2005, he claimed that he has left Wikipedia, which evidence indicates it’s untrue, as he has created a dozen of sockpuppets. Most of his sockpuppets were created after his account was blocked indefinitely due to it being compromised. He has been using these sockpuppets abusively, because he has used them to vote more than once in many occasions of WP:RFA. He also makes fun of vandals and has a sour attitude towards them which deeply offends the vandals. These users have all demonstrated the similar behaviour as RickK:

Collectonian has been very disruptive because she has been following Bambifan101 (talk · contribs) everywhere since August 2008 and has been very offensive to Bambifan101, just like how RickK was offensive to vandals, as indicated in those edits[1][2][3], such as by calling Bambifan and his friends “idiots”. She has reverted every single edit made by Bambifan101’s sockpuppets and friends, in which the edits are indeed in good faith, but she reverted them as if she was a robot and didn’t check whether Bambifan101’s edits are really vandalism.

PMDrive1061 has also been deeply involved with Bambifan101. He has continuously been offensive to Bambifan101 by repeatedly telling him that he’s not welcome here, and by calling him an idiot, as shown in these cases[4][5]. He’s also supported Vicenarian’s request for adminship [6] when Vicenarian is also a likely sockpuppet of the same user as PMDrive1061.

Abce2 has exhibited the same behaviour as RickK, such as reverting tons of vandalism. Given evidence that this user has already been accused as sockpuppetry twice before[7][8], he is likely to be, indeed, a sockpuppet. Just like RickK, Abce2 has also had other users expressing dissatisfaction to him, such as when he was offensive to Noloop (talk · contribs) here[9].

WarthogDemon also found ways to be creative to vandals, taking them as a joke, and humiliating them throughout edit summaries. His user page edit history[10] clearly indicates that. His edit summary for updating vandal counts has encouraged more vandalism, just like when RickK was offensive to vandals, because after RickK “left” Wikipedia, vandalism has decreased.

Based on Vicenarian’s experience, it’s becoming very clear that he is a sockpuppet of another user because he shows a very extraordinary form of familiarity when he joined Wikipedia, much more than what an ordinary newcomer would be like. As Dylan620 (talk · contribs) pointed out, “He had only been on Wikipedia for a couple of days and he was acting like he has been admin for over half an year.”[11]. And he, just like RickK, shows that his behaviour insults the vandals. For example, he has created an essay (that’s now deleted) that was called Wikipedia:Fun with trolls which talks about Bambifan101.[12] Note the deletion log here.

WebHamster has also been very hot tempered towards vandals, just like RickK, and he has been harassing the vandals a lot by telling other people to “Fuck off” on a regular basis whenever they say something bad about him, refusing to communicate properly with vandals. Note the edit summaries shown of these diffs. [13][14] Another reason he is a very probable sockpuppet is because of the fact that he has ALREADY been accused of potential sockpuppetry before.[15]

Malleus Fatuorum is obviously related to WebHamster because he/she supports WebHamster and he confronts the administrator who blocked him when he was clearly harassing IP users[16]. And he/she supported WebHamster even after he was accused of sockpuppetry. Only a sockpuppet himself would actually show strong support for another sockpuppet.

When RickK was around Wikipedia, almost all of his edits around there were based on anti-vandalism, such as reverting vandalism at light speed and blocking users, and the latest person to be doing something like that is J.delanoy. See his recent logs. [17] Also, he cheated for J.delanoy’s Checkuser election, when the suspected sockpuppets, such as Vicenarian, Javert, and Triplestop, all supported him. [18]

Momusufan appears to be clearly on Collectonian’s side, such as the sockpuppet reports that he/she made about Bambifan101[19], despite the fact that all of the edits made by these IP addresses are clearly good faith. It matches the behaviour of RickK for having absolutely no mercy on any vandal. He/she also reverts every single edit made by Bambifan101 and his friends, regardless of the value of the edit.

The apparent reason of Impala2009 for joining Wikipedia was certainly reverting vandalism, by his contributions. This user, just like RickK and a lot of his suspected sock puppeteers, have the same attitude towards vandals, treating them with lots of anger, and his behaviour is clearly insulting to vandals, which encourages them to vandalize[20][21][22] (note these edit summaries).

Looking at WimpyKid’s userpage setup, he appears to be obviously related to Impala2009.[23][24] as you can see, both of their userpage setups has the line “This is my userpage, this page is about me.”, with a picture attached below that, and some more provided information that are below the picture. Apparently WimpyKid has changed his gender template to female to avoid being accused of being a sock of Impala2009. Add that to the fact that it was WimpyKid who gave Impala2009 the welcome message[25] and it was Impala2009 who updated WimpyKid’s vandal count box[26].

Javert, just like Vicenarian, has shown a form of familiarity when he joined Wikipedia, much more than what an ordinary newcomer would be like. And since RickK is an admin, his admin-like behaviour (despite the fact that he’s fairly new), and his loads of amounts of vandalism reversions, show that he’s suspected to be related to RickK. He is also votestacking for RfA and CheckUser election candidates.[27][28]. Triplestop also reverted excessive amounts of spam and was votestacking along with Javert.
