Presentation

This account, ITU-T, is held by the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) of ITU’s Standardization Sector (ITU-T) – a non-profit organization in the UN-system. The account was primarily established to improve the article on ITU-T. We have no interest in operating in anyway contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia and have engaged with the community in order to ensure this. We believe that the edits are as objective as possible, accurate and taking into account the needs of the reader. We will also seek to provide additional accurate and solid information on other articles within the field of telecommunications which are closely related to ITU-T. Clearly we would encourage further improvements to the article and we are happy to discuss any related matter.

Clarifying the account name ‘ITU-T’

In order to answer recent criticism against the name of this Wikipedia account, ITU-T, TSB wants to clarify that there is one single user (in the TSB) participating in Wikipeda by means of this account. The name, ITU-T, was chosen in order to make clear that the user is acting on behalf of the ITU Standardization Sector (ITU-T).

I hereby assert that I am the creator and/or sole owner of the exclusive copyright of 1 and 2. I agree to publish that work under the free license Wikipedia:GNU Free Documentation License resources. I acknowledge that I grant anyone the right to use the work in a commercial product, and to modify it according to their needs. I am aware that I always retain copyright of my work, and retain the right to be attributed in accordance with the license chosen. Modifications others make to the work will not be attributed to me.
