Hunterd (talk · contribs) Greetings to you. I've been working on Wikipedia for a couple years now, but have really increased my Wikidiction in the last year or so. I'm heavily involved in the Stargate SG-1 articles, as well as history. Please view my to-do list to gain a greater grasp on my interests. I'm an excellent copy-editor, and do a lot of it for English assignments and essays at school - haven't really had time to do much copyediting on Wikipedia this year due to school workload, but some of this years' work includes copyediting for Richard III (1955 film) for my friend, User:thefourdotelipsis, and Pilot (House) for one of his friends. Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson, Chekov (Stargate) and the two Atlantis articles (Atlantis and Location hypotheses of Atlantis) are also some of my best work. Unfortunately I only recently learned of the term copyediting - before then I thought it was wikifying, so if you look at my contribs you'll see a lot of wikify edit descriptions... I'm also a stickler for vandalism, being a member of the Counter-Vandalism Unit and I am also a Recent Changes patroller (altough I do not subscribe to the list for the group).

Questions

  1. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I have become known as the Duke of Copyeditting. This is mainly evident in my work on the following articles:

I am also an overseer of the Motto of the Day project.

  1. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I try not to engage in edit wars or any such activity, although I generally put forth my view on a matter on an article's talk page and discuss it with other editors there.
