Terror Film Festival is Philadelphia's first and only horror film festival.<ref> The festival is held in the center city of Philadelphia, PA and the past six years in the Ethnical Society Building in the historic Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia.<ref> The Terror Film Festival premieres and showcases new material from American and international horror filmmakers, both studio and independent. The festival accepts film entries in 16 categories containing of Best Feature Film, Director, Director of Photography, Cinematographer, Editor, Special Effects, Musical Score and Actor/ Actress. In addition, unique catorgies represent the other awards including, Audience Favorite, Best Feature and Short Screenplay, and Best Short Film in each of the following genres Horror, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Thriller, and Drama.
