"Greygirlbeast" is one of many aliases that have been used by Nar'eth ni'glecti Mericale, a somewhat infamous Nebari arm's dealer, smuggler, and occasional mercenary. She is also known to be widely versed in palaeontology, geology, evolutionary biology, taxonomy and phylogenetic systematics, and oceanography. Her areas of expertise include mosasaurs and other Upper Cretaceous terapods and fish, Triassic reptiles, Upper Cretaceous dinosaurs (especially ankylosaurs), contemporary science fiction and dark fantasy, exobiology, deep-sea exploration, cosmology, parahumanism, morphological freedom, and comparative mythology. She has recently discovered Wikipedia and thinks it quite a wonderful thing. Member of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology since 1985, and a former member of the Paleontological Society, the Alabama Academy of Science, the Society for Sedimentary Geology, and the Paleontological Research Institution (Ithaca, NY).
