My Monster Rancher is an Video game that was released in 2011 By Mobage, and Tecmo Koei. It is another in an ever growing list of the Monster rancher (video game) series.
Gameplay[edit]
My monster Rancher is a revisit of the first few games in the series, It involves breeding, training and fighting Monsters. All story is dexcribed for you by your Ranch assistant, and the player makes choices through menu options. The Main character is never seen on screen.
Raising Monsters[edit]
The Core mechanic of the game is training your monsters increasing their stats, and sending them on adventures. AS the monsters level up they may acquire Techniques that can give them an edge in fights. You do this until the player feels they are strong enough to fight in competitions, to increase the rank of your monster and earn money, making training new monsters easier.

Fights[edit]
Fights have little risk and little animation to go with them, they consist of 5 rounds. Each round Picks a random Stat and compares it to the opponent's, the higher stat wins the round. An overall winner is chosen when 3 rounds have been won. A monster can score a "Critical hit" when their score is drastically higher and counts as 1.5 wins, thus if you score 2 critical hits the Fight may only last 2 rounds.
Unlocking Monsters[edit]
You unlock one random monster at the beginning of the game and can generate a new version of this monster whenever you wish. Other monsters are gained by adding neighbours.
Neighbours are other online players. When you add them and they agree to be your neighbour you gain the ability to generate whatever breed of monster they started with, and they get to generate the breed you started with.
