I started using Wikipedia in the spring of 2005 to gather research for a school project. Since then I have used this site numerous times. It wasn't until recently that I start to make my own articles and edits. In an English class at Georgia Southern University I was told completing a Wikipedia article would be a project that had to be done. I didn't realize how much people actually put into this online encyclopedia. It amazes me every time I log-in. I've started doing my part to help with hopes of helping others the way Wikipedia has helped me.

In the Beginning[edit]

I was born in a small town in southern Georgia. Just because I live in and was born in the "South", does make me southern. However, I will admit to having a soft-spot for big trucks with a lift-kit and having winters that only last for 2 months. I lived in the same small town until moving out the day after my high school graduation. I moved to an island off the coast of Georgia at this time and now reside there when not at Georgia Southern.

The Basics[edit]

I am a student currently attending Georgia Southern University. My major is in Public Relations. I live in the southeastern region of the United States. I am a college hoping to learn a few things in the process of sharing what I know. I believe that people can either know a lot about a little or a little about a lot. I tend to be someone that knows a little about a lot. I intend to use my knowledge of random facts to enrich wikipedia in the best ways I know how to. I am also very out going and a little wacky at times. My articles may not make sense at time, but please give me time. That will always be fixed. :D

I am new to wikipedia. To say I am still figuring out this whole coding process would be an understatement; to say the least. So I will gladly receive and helpful tips.

My favorite place to be is on the coast. I live on an island most of my summer. Living on an island is one of the many reasons I have taken such interest in coastal subjects.
