Survivor: Winners at War is the 40th season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor. [1]. The first episode will be released on February 12, 2020. [2] It will feature 20 winners from past seasons, Survivor: Africa, Survivor: Pearl Islands, Survivor: All Stars, Survivor: Guatemala, Survivor: Cook Islands, Survivor: Micronesia, Survivor: Heroes vs Villains, Survivor: Redemption Island, Survivor: South Pacific, Survivor: One World, Survivor: Philippines, Survivor: Blood vs Water, Survivor: Cagayan, Survivor: San Juan Del Sur, Survivor: Cambodia, Survivor: Kaoh Rong, Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X, Survivor: Game Changers, Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Survivor: Ghost Island, and Survivor: David vs. Goliath. Many famous Survivor winners have not made the cut for season 40. Season 1 winner, Richard Hatch, did not make the cut. When asked on twitter, he said he was never asked. Hatch also said that it had nothing to do with the incident with Survivor contestant, Sue Hawk. It was also speculated that Tina Wesson, and Mike Holloway were called, but later cut. Earl Cole was also called, but had to leave, due to his child being born early. John Cochran got called, but declined for an unknown reason. [3]

The 20 castaways have been divided into 2 speculated tribes, labeled Red and Blue. [4]
Twists[edit]
In Survivor: Winners at War, there will be a Edge of Extinction, where players have the option to return to the game. Survivor money will also be introduced, which the contestants can use to buy rewards, advantages, and comfort items. Every cast member will have their loved one visit. A $2,000,000 prize will be given then the usual $1,000,000 prize. [5]
