"O Happy Day!" is a science fiction short story by Geoff Ryman. It was first published in the March 1985 anthology Interzone: The 1st Anthology edited by John Clute, Colin Greenland, and David Pringle. O Happy Day! has also been published in Unconquered Countries: Four Novellas and Brave New Worlds: Dystopian Stories.

Awards[edit]

O Happy Day! was nominated for a British Science Fiction Award and received twenty-second place for the Locus Award for Best Novelette.[1]
