Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Deckiller! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. L. Craig Martindale - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

AfD nomination of Shinji Hosoe[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Shinji Hosoe. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shinji Hosoe. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:09, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello there[edit]

I don't understand why you are inactive all the time, but anyways, Final Fantasy character classes has a GAR. GamerPro64 (talk) 02:57, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

You must be retired. I finally get a response from you the day before I delist it. It does seem sad that you don't do must on Wikipedia, though. GamerPro64 (talk) 20:09, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Let me ask you something. Two things actuallly. 1. Will you ever work on an article to make it to GA or FA status? And 2. Would you like to be interviewed for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Newsletter? We already have someone planned to be interviewed, but you have a great track record. GamerPro64 (talk) 20:34, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree that an interview would be interesting, since you're one of the few pre-2006 editors still around and the format of a good chunk of our articles are based on the ones you worked on. If this quarter is not a good time, then there's always next quarter. Let us know. (Guyinblack25 talk 18:28, 22 February 2010 (UTC))
Your questions can be found here. GamerPro64 (talk) 21:08, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
    • Not to rush you, but are you occupied from answering the questions? Its really close to the wire so let me own if you can't answers them. GamerPro64 (talk) 03:10, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Well, 2nd quarter has started so are you prepared to be interviewed this quarter? GamerPro64 (talk) 19:45, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
  • When you're ready. I don't want to rush you or anything. Besides, I'm working on a new feature for this quarter and also trying to get Beyond Good and Evil to GA. So again, take your time. The questions are already up for you. GamerPro64 (talk) 20:29, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
    • Dec, while not trying to rush you (sounding like a broken record), but I have a deadline. When will you be ready? GamerPro64 (talk) 23:46, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Adoption[edit]

Hi Deckiller,

I've started to clean up the Adopters' list. You appear to appear to have been editing only sporadically in the last months. I wonder if you're still interested in adopting new users. If you're not interested any more, would you mind removing yourself? Thank you and happy editing, Snowolf How can I help? 11:11, 20 April 2010 (UTC)

hi[edit]

I'm fine thanks: have come into the low-activity period of my year (give or take a few small deadlines here and there). So there's time to breathe mentally. What is that software you mentioned? Is it to be your career? Tony (talk) 02:34, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

RfC on Featured List Criteria section 3b[edit]

Hello. There is currently an RfC in progress at Wikipedia talk:Featured list criteria#RfC - 3.b review in progress regarding Criteria 3b of the featured list criteria and whether it should be modified or eliminated. As you participated in a previous discussion regarding Criteria 3b when it was first introduced, this discussion may be of interest to you. Grondemar 16:17, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

copy-edit template[edit]

Hi, more important is that SMcCandlish came along and got someone to remove the hyphen earlier this year. I won't use the template now because of this. The admin should not have changed it on the say-so of a single user.

It's raining thanks spam![edit]

  • Please pardon the intrusion. This tin of thanks spam is offered to everyone who commented or !voted (Support, Oppose or Neutral) on my recent RfA. I appreciate the fact that you care enough about the encyclopedia and its community to participate in this forum.
  • There are a host of processes that further need community support, including content review (WP:GAN, WP:PR, WP:FAC, and WP:FAR). You can also consider becoming a Wikipedia Ambassador. If you have the requisite experience and knowledge, consider running for admin yourself!

Welcome back[edit]

I haven't seen your name in a longtime, welcome back from semi-retirement. Secret account 01:20, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Yea it's still productive, but the project significatly changed. I got desysopped by ArbCom back in December, long story, many other longstanding users that you probably recognized fell from grace or disappeared. You came back at a time when we are losing admins in a rapid pace, and RFA has been "hell week" dead with only very few people passing. I got some sports articles that I'm in the process of rewriting Eppa Rixey and Reggie Jackson, a good sports copyeditor User:Sarastro1 came along since you became missing. Are you coming back to edit sports articles? Secret account 01:36, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
