Yes[edit]

It's a great feeling to see an article improved. Your help would be 100% appreciated; Sandy looks after refs, but work on prose has been spotty. Marskell 09:36, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Wikisource[edit]

Hi. I have tagged Fundamental Law of the Vatican as a canditate to be moved to wikisource. Is there anything you can do as an administrator to complete the move? Its move would leave one less article on the backlog. Rintrah 06:05, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Panavision[edit]

I just wanted to say it was a pleasure collaborating with you on the edit. I thought your ce's were uniformly excellent. Best, Dan—DCGeist 20:16, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

RE: Game manuals/strategy guides[edit]

The only one of those games that I own is FFX, and I don't have any strategy guides except for the FFVII one, so I'm afraid I can't be of any help there. Sorry, but I hope you can find the information you're looking for! Nique talk 18:28, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Looking to be adopted[edit]

I would really like to be adopted so that i can learn alot and help out even more Cori Fournier 19:43, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

I, KeybladeSephi, would like to be adopted by you. I would like to learn more about Wikipedia and how I can help ^_^ KeybladeSephi Talk Contributions

If you're still adopting, I'm game. Bit of an avid FF/gamer type myself. Do tell if ya are.

I would like to be adopted too. You seem like a great person! I love wikipedia. :) Aridine 22:37, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

FFXI[edit]

http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/intro/about/job01.html?pageID=about is the website for jobs. It doesn't have just about any info, though, but hey... it's a start, I guess. I do have a manual; what info do you need for citations? -RaCha'ar 23:40, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, my question wasn't at all clear. What information do you need from the manual in order to cite it? Generally you'd need publisher, author, year, etc... but I don't know what information you would need from an instruction manual. -RaCha'ar 00:22, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
I actually quit playing quite some time ago and apparently threw out my manual. I'm having my fiance try to find his so we can use it for this. Sorry Deck :/ -RaCha'ar 04:41, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Re:Merge and Delete[edit]

Hi.

Thanks for your message, I didn't realise that. I still can't quite see why not, but I'm happy to take your word for it! Thanks anyway, I'll remember that.

Sly & the Family Stone.[edit]

Hello, Deckiller. I was told that you are very good with copyediting, and was wondering if you would be willing to help us out with the Sly & the Family Stone article, which is listed at Wikipedia:Featured article review. Let me know what you think, and if you are available at all. Thanks. --FuriousFreddy 22:56, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey, Tyler, it's on the mainpage on Feb 18—if you have time to give it a look, it would be good to close it before the mainpage date. Wikipedia:Featured article review/Sly & the Family Stone SandyGeorgia (Talk) 01:46, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Sly & Fam[edit]

Any more thoughts on Wikipedia:Featured article review/Sly & the Family Stone. Marskell 11:06, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Erk. I guess this thread is redundant given the one above. Marskell 11:07, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for letting us know; anxious to have your work ready for the mainpage by the 18th. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:56, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Rise and Fall: Civilizations at War[edit]

Hi Deckiller. I noticed you helped Clyde Miller with Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. I could use some help myself on the Rise and Fall article, which I've rewritten (based on Empires). Clyde's already helping every now and again, and I'm working on it too, but I thought your help would be invaluable. The goal is to get the article to GA, and FA later on if possible. Thanks if you can help, and thanks anyways if you can't. :-) · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 11:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

What does formatting references mean? I'll look for more sources, but I doubt I can find scholarly ones... As for the Easter Egg, I wasn't sure whether to remove it or not; it was there already. You say I should add it to the development; it sounds like a good solution. Thanks! · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 11:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Hmm... I can't find how many copies have been sold on Google. Do you know of any websites that give that information? I'll do the refs later, with the template you mentioned. · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:00, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thanks! · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Is this site's "Rankings Ratio/User" section fine? It's all I could find. The other games that had sales figures had millions sold; this is a minor game, so there aren't any news about it. · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:53, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I found a couple of awards, as well as it's sales ranking in the UK; I added a subsection in "Reception" for it. Is that alright? · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 11:56, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. Is there anything else I should do to improve the content, or do I request a PR? · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:04, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Alright, I'll work on the refs a bit now then. · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 12:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

from quatreryukami[edit]

Well, 1st question, though not a good one. If you look at my userpage, you see it's VERY messy. Tips on how to clean it up? and maybe get a layout like yours? Thanks!Quatreryukami 17:07, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Of Course, what do i need to do? oh, my AIM is ryukamiquatre (easy, right?)Quatreryukami 14:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I cannot say the same for me, as right now i am in the process of moving into a new house, and geting the net set up there. I am at school right now, but when i get it i will let you know. And i am willing to sacrifice somethings on my user page, so let me know. I do have to tell you now, i have access to a comp at least 1 1/2 hours almost every other day, and on some days more, depending on what happens in class. Quatreryukami 20:10, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Thx[edit]

When I saw the headline "Sly" on my talk I thought "what am I being accused of now?" He he. I've kept the page. Kakapo next, it seems. Thanks again for all of your work. Marskell 11:17, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Autumnfest[edit]

Was curious why you are merging Autumnfest with the Woonsocket, RI article? Not trying to be a jerk about it, just wondering what the thought process was behind it. Thanks! Jerry G. Sweeton Jr. 12:53, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Kakapo[edit]

Neat article. I did a runthrough last night. There were some odd shifts in tense that I addressed; I might have missed a few though. The paragraph that begins "Mustelids have never colonised Steward Island/Rakiura, but feral cats were present" seems abrupt and out of place, especially since the first four sentences don't mention any year or how it relates to conservation efforts. Also, the fourth sentence of that graf is probably unnecessary. I sprinkled some comments in the text, too. BuddingJournalist 01:39, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm going to be traveling for the next few weeks, so probably won't have a lot of internet access and may not be able to follow closely. Marskell won't close or keep it if there are still concerns; he'll let it go as long as needed. I gotta pack :-) SandyGeorgia (Talk) 13:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm going to read it over now. Marskell 14:16, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
To be immodest, I'd guess a few people already think I am one. Contact User:Joelr31 to look over Kakapo; he's a pro with taxa and is the other person who closes FARs. His time is limited, but he may be able to look. Marskell 14:42, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
By the way, in case I haven't said it enough, your help at FAR has been invaluable. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 14:53, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

ESB[edit]

Alright, I've finished The Empire Strikes Back save for doubling on a few references. Would you mind copyediting the article for the FAC? The Filmaker 05:45, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Request[edit]

Himesman47 seems to be an account made for vandalising - has vandalized 3 or 4 articles (especially the current main page FA) now and has no made no constructive edits. Can you warn or block them? I'd be real grateful. LuciferMorgan 15:56, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Jak879, another main page FA vandal, is changing article pictures with a picture he uploaded. Can you warn or block them too? Thanks. LuciferMorgan 15:59, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I think Sly should be semi-protected for today to be honest, otherwise there'll be a few more vandals. LuciferMorgan 16:04, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Comet Hyakutake[edit]

I did a broad pass at this. It needs two more; no reason it can't be kept after that. Marskell 16:16, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

I thought your edits were fine. I'll re-read again later today. Marskell 07:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello[edit]

Something you might be interested in[edit]

I currently, well, not have, but am "acquiring" the Brady game guides for FF Anthology, Chronicles, FFIII, FFVII, FFIX, FFX, and FFX-2, as well as the Versus guide for FFVII. It will probably take a few days, but I thought you might be interested in the fact that we might finally have some of these guides for sourcing. --PresN 05:23, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

I was trying to be subtle, but, to be frank, piracy. http://www.blackcats-games.net/ is a (free) private tracker, I just managed to sign up just as they were purging old members. I'll try to start sourcing things in Creatures of Final Fantasy today. --PresN 16:33, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I've started sourcing the Creatures Monsters page, as the downloads went faster than expected, wish the pdfs were searchable though. Right now I'm just running through and sourcing any statement that says "blah blah blah in Final Fantasy ( )". If there's any specific statements that you want me to look for, or anything that I missed (I've done a pass for FFX, X-2, and III), hit me up on my talk page, or on the Monsters talk page. Also, I'm using separate refs for each page number (unless it's a 2 or 3 page section), do you think I should switch to Harvard-style or Chicago, or some other way? --PresN 06:20, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Alright, makes sense to me. I think that's Harvard style? I can never keep them straight. Anyways, I'll start converting them over now, before I get too far. --PresN 17:10, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Tension over at Final Fantasy character classes[edit]

I'm appealing to you as an admin to keep a close eye on Kariteh and Daedalus in the ongoing Odin/Black Mage discussion. The latter is really defensive and the former seems to be provoking him. I'm afraid this is going to degenerate into a big mess despite my pleas for sanity. I'm sure you're keeping an eye on it anyway but just wanted to voice my concerns. Thanks Deck - you're doing a hell of a job. -RaCha'ar 23:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
