I am the same user as user:NextGen911. I have created this account because the choice of that other username caused another editor to think I was connected to a website I referenced in an article I created. The user:NextGen911 account will now become inactive, and I will use this account for all edits going forward. A note to that effect has been placed on that now inactive user page.

About me

I worked in the Public Safety communications area for approximately 30 years, and served at the technology officer level for several large organizations. I'm now semi-retired, but do provide advice in this area from time to time - as long as it doesn't interfere with my fishing! I hope to contribute to Wikipedia in this area, and in one other area of great interest to me - music! Maybe fishing too...
