I suspect I may come to regret this page if I ever have an RfA, but these are just my opinions. I realize they do not necessarily reflect consensus, and I will always go with consensus over my personal opinion. This is just a space to make my views transparent.

Consensus[edit]

There most certainly is a cabal[edit]

Notability[edit]

While I agree that there are things that don't belong on Wikipedia (a lot of things actually), I think that the current criteria for notability is to strict. The way I see it if someone could conceivably try and look it up on here, then it can be here. If someone wants to spend the time creating a good article on the subject, then it can stay here. Another problem with notability is that if editors can't find something on Google, they assume it isn't notable. Google should not define what is in our encyclopedia.

Three revert rule[edit]

Anon editing[edit]

I don't like it. Because anyone can make an account, requiring an account would not effect the fact that anyone can edit! Requiring an account for editing would be another deterrent to vandalism. It would also solve the problems associated with blocking IP's and IP blocks. New contributors would most likely be more civil becuase of the accountability assumed in an account.
