Jawatte Lions were a Division 'A' rugby union team based in Sri Lanka, competing in the Dialog Rugby League.
The Jawatte Lions Sports Club was established in 1990, initially competing in tag rugby and football, at the Colts Cricket Club Grounds, part of Havelock Park. They were however forced to relocate following the re-development of Havelock Park.
Between 2001 and 2005 the Jawatte Lions played in the Division 'B' competions, as well as the under-21s, under-24s and the Club 7s tournaments. They also participated in the over-35s tournament. The Lions subsequently qualified for the Division 'A' rugby competition finishing as runner-ups at the Division 'B' rugby tournament in 2005.
