About me : Comedy Bookings

I am Peter, a 59 year old retired Finance Director with an active interest in stand-up comedy, cabaret, burlesque and musical comedy....I've even done a bit of comedy myself! I am a volunteer at my local comedy club and book some of the acts (hence the username - as I don't want my usual email to be inundated with prospective acts asking me for spots!) and I have seen pretty much all the big names from Michael McIntyre, Jackie Mason right through to the Comic Strip, Joan Rivers and Les Dawson in my time. Now that I'm retired (mainly due to ill health - I'm a cancer survivor). I'm going to spend my time helping out in editing Wikipages of comics and performers I have seen or know about.
