Habitable Planet is a planet with habitable environments for a life to sustain. A habitable zone is where the planet lies just right for a life to exist in between the too cold and too hot temperature where temperature is right for liquid water to exist as we all know that water is the prime source of energy for a life to survive, for a planet to be habitable it must have the correct temperature the right amount of sunlight .In order to know how far a habitable zone needs to be from a star ,it depends upon the amount of radiation the star emits and also the planets atmospheric tendency to absorb the right amount of radiation into its surface [1] [2]unlike our star the habitable zone is the distance between the mars and Venus

In order to find a new planet scientist discovered a new method called gravitational microlensing , we know that every object with mass in space distorts the space around it like a curve, when the light passes through this mass the light ray gets distorted like the similar effect of eclipse where the light rays are covered entirely by the planet.Gravitational Microlensing is the similar process when the light passes through the mass a distortion of light is formed that is observed by the telescope .A new galaxy is discovered when the deflected light creates a ring around it which is called an Einstein Ring , a double Einstein Ring was found by Hubble Space Telescope which later lead to the discovery of two new galaxies.

Scientists are searching for Earth-like planets also called exoplanets , where the basic essentials for a life to exist is available in discovery they found that water does exist in the planets not only above but also below in some of the gas giants or ice covered planets where alien life may exist underneath the darkness of the ocean. The kepler-62f is known to be the first validated earth-sized planet to orbit a distant star . it orbits closer to its star than earth. the planet just takes 267 days to orbit around its sun, however Kepler-62f is said to be about 990 light years away from our solar system ,1 light year is equal to 9 trillion kilometres so if we travel at the speed of light we would travel to Kepler in 990 years.

Since Kepler 62f is far away from our solar system , the nearest known habitable planets is said to be Trappist-1 which is about 40 light years away from our solar system .NASA said that the Trappist-1 is said to have most earth sized planets orbiting around a single star, its sun is 12 times less mass than our sun and also only 9 percent the mass of our sun with seven planets orbiting around it.The star is an ultra cool dwarf its so cool that it can emit the right amount of radiation to create an habitable zone for the planets , where all the seven planets is said to have the liquid water which is the key ingredient of life . Using the data from NASA's Spitzer and Kepler space telescopes, offers the best-yet picture of what these planets are made of. They used the telescope observations to calculate the densities more precisely than ever. Researchers determined that all of the planets are mostly made of rock. Additionally, some have up to 5 percent of their mass in water, which is 250 times more than the oceans on Earth.[3]

The planets in Trappist-1 does not revolve like earth which means the planets remains facing its star in the same direction such that the day and night does not change everyday unlike earth.The planets are also very close to each other such that they can see the neighbours right from the surface of the another

It would take about 40 light years to travel to Trappist-1 , if we travel at the speed of light we would travel to Trappist-1 in 40 years , but no modern space craft has even recorded to travel at this speed , even if we travel at this rate of speed we need to think about the food and the water source for the astronauts to survive.
