Hi CattleGirl. Great job writing the cattle judging article. It has a lot of useful content in it. But there is one problem: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so articles should be encyclopedic with a neutral point of view. At this time, the cattle judging article is more like a manual on how to judge cattle instead of information about cattle judging. As I know nothing about the subject, I am unfortunately unable to make these improvements myself. So it would be wonderful is you could take the time to rewrite the article, with these considerations in mind. For more information, consult Wikpedia guidelines like what wikipedia is not. --Stijn Vermeeren 19:41, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
You can include some about how to judge, but not so much as right now. Have an eye for every aspect. In the introduction, write some lines about what is is, very generally, for people who do not know what cattle judging is. Then in the article, you can write about the where (on what occasions) one judges cattle, which people judge cattle and why they do so, about the history of this habit... Also, try not to talk to the reader (When you are judging cattle, you want to), but write from a neutral, third person's perspective (Wikipedia is after all an encyclopedia). I hope you find these remarks helpful in improving the cattle judging article, and other articles you might write in the future. --Stijn Vermeeren 11:25, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
