You can find information on the person of my namesake at Giovanni Bottesini. I believe that wikipedians should show respect for each other, maintain a high level of professionalism, and develop a sense of community and pride in Wikipedia. I am a regular contributor on AfD discussion and also used to identify with deletionism, but I have a different stance now. I use VandalProof to revert vandalism, use AWB for general cleanup, and spend the rest of my time doing behind-the-scenes mediation stuff and welcoming new users, whom I am happy to help with anything. As you may notice, I only have userboxes that are relevant to Wikipedia or help you understand my position when I edit. I think that frivolous userboxes could quite possibly be the ultimate demise of Wikipedia. |
